About Me:
I graduated with honors from Northeastern University obtaining my undergraduate degree in a dual major of Sociology and Anthropology. I then earned my master’s degree in Education with a specialty in Pastoral Counseling and Trauma from Cambridge College.
As a clinical therapist I have worked at a variety of outpatient mental health clinics, residential and day treatment programs as well as facilities for the developmentally disabled. In addition I provided counseling services in a variety of church and para-church ministries. In my 12 years of experience I have been able to accrue substantial knowledge in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, developmental delays, trauma, abuse and/or neglect. I have a comprehensive expertise in counseling children, adolescents, adults, family systems and group facilitation. I have gained expansive knowledge and experience in treating individuals with such diagnosis as depression, bipolar disorder, general mood disorders, anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, attention deficit hyperactive disorder, personality disorders and psychosis.
When I'm not at Bloom Into Wellness:
Outside of work I am generally volunteering my time in the community to educate and bring awareness to mental health concerns. I also enjoy watching a good movie, learning something new, traveling and/or spending time with my family.
Hobbies/Interests:
I enjoy singing, creating music and one day I hope to learn how to knit.

Most people are surprised when I tell them that I ride a motorcycle.
