I believe that art can foster resilience, provide an outlet for expression, and raise the self-esteem of children who have survived various forms of trauma. I have a background in working with toddlers and preschoolers who have experienced homelessness through Horizon’s for Homeless Children, pediatric cancer patients residing at Christopher’s Haven, and with the Italian Home for Children’s trauma informed school setting, supporting the individual needs of students. I am dedicated to working with the youth and families of greater Boston and continues to provide multi-faceted therapeutic care at a comprehensive, trauma informed after school setting in Boston. I am TF-CBT Trained, completed a B.S. in Art Therapy, and went on to receive an M.A. in Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy in 2016.
When I'm not at Bloom Into Wellness:
In my free time I enjoy riding my bike or hiking with my husband, cooking a new recipe for my family and friends and making art.
