I am a licensed mental health counselor and a marine biologist. Born and raised in Spain, I received my master’s degree in family therapy at the University of Salamanca. Subsequently, I moved to the United States in 1998 to work with underserved children and families in the Boston area. I have worked at several community based non-profit organizations in the Boston area as a clinician, supervisor, and program director. I also currently work as a psychotherapist at Cambridge Health Alliance and as a per diem clinician for the Boston Emergencies Services Team (B.E.S.T.) conducting psychiatric evaluations.
When I'm not at Bloom Into Wellness:
I enjoy scuba diving and traveling to Spain to
see my family.
Scuba diving, advocacy, and spending time with family and friends.
Fun Facts About Me:
I followed a lifelong dream and moved to sunny Australia to pursue a bachelor’s degree in marine biology. Upon returning to the United
States, I combined my skills and experience in both social services and marine biology and founded Dive Kulture, a scuba diving program for inner city youth in the Boston area.
